The Supreme Court has stayed the interim bail granted to Tangail MP Amanur Rahman Khan Rana in the murder case of Freedom Fighter Faruk Ahmed for four months. A three-member appellate bench led by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha delivered the decision on Monday after a hearing of the state’s petition.
The court also ordered the completion of the trial within the next six months.
